If someone gets a black belt in one style of Karate, is it usable in other styles of Karate?

For Example, if someone were to study 3 years and get a black belt from Kyokushin Karate, will he be able to use that belt in Shotokan Karate?

Several comments:

1) I seriously doubt that anyone can achieve a black belt in Kyokushin-Kai karate in 3 years.

2) A black belt in any style is not the same as a black belt in another style.

3) having a black belt in one style does not entitle you to wear a black belt in another. That is like saying that you earned a degree in Spanish, so you should be worthy of a degree in a different language too.

NOTE: having earned a legitimate black belt in one style would mean that that same person would likely be able to learn a different style quicker. Only because your body would already be able to do some things. Although styles are different there are many things that are similar.
