BJJ Gi/Kimono Size? Brand?
I have been practicing bjj for a couple months now and my gi fits me much smaller than everyone elses.
I am 5' 10", I weigh 210 lbs (not a real fat 210), and have a size 36 waist.
My current gi is a Fuji size A3 double weave, the pants fit just fine, but the front of my jacket hardly closes like everyone elses, and the sleeves, when i stick my arms straight out, slide back about 4 to 6 inches away from my wrists. When i first tried it on it seemed like it was a little small, but the A4 was much bigger.
But it is made of 100% cotton, and even though i air dry it, it still shrunk a little bit, causing it to be somewhat uncomfortably small.
So any suggestions? If there is maybe a brand that fits better, or comes preshrunk? Or at least just some recommendation on how to get one to fit right

I'm about your same size, maybe an inch shorter. Anyway, I also wear a 36 inch waist in jeans. I bought a A3 Gameness Platinum Weave and it fits very well. I have never dired it in the drier though. I always just hang dry it. But anyway, I am pretty "barrell" chested and it fits me pretty well. I love the super stiff lapel of the gameness. It ,makes it extremely difficult for your opponent to grab. I have not trained with a gi for very long, but I can tell the difference in having on a quality gi and wearing or rolling with someone who has on a cheaper, not so stiff gi. Geez....I sound like I am working for Gameness but I dont. lol
Anyway, I would just about bet the a3 from gameness will fit you. you will be happy you spent the money.
