I Want To Buy a Katana Sword....not the phone?
i really want a katana, a japanese sword. I want to buy one that is strong enough to swing around, but also looks nice. Black is prefered.
Requirements for Katana:
1) Strong enough to swing around.
2) Below $35.
3) Black, simple design.
4) Optional...Full Tang.
Please answer these questions:
1) Find me a site to buy this katana.
2) Do you own it?
3) If you do own it, is it good? Or bad?
4) Additional Information....
Most detailed answer will get Best-ed....
Please take this question seriously.
Thank You.

I hate to break it to you, but you are not going to find a sword safe enough for swinging around for under $35. Did you ever hear of the term "you get what you pay for"? The link below is your best option and the price is on the LOW side for a beginner katana. Anything under this is probably junk and not worth your time. I suggest you save up $220 (the price of this one) and get it. Don't skimp on something that is potentially deadly.
When you say full tang is "optional" it really isn't! If you want a sword other than to hang on the wall you have no choice. Swords in general were never meant to be anything less than full tang. You need that blade support and security through the grip to safely wield.
From a martial artist standpoint of someone who just trains in weapons, I HIGHLY SUGGEST you do not get anything under $200, do not get anything without a full tang, and do not get something made of stainless steel. Beware the term "battle ready" it is a marketing term and means nothing. Don't let a business try to sell you a sword that is deemed "battle ready". Hell, my 1994 GMC Jimmy is technically battle ready, but is it really battle appropriate? I have dealt with the seller therionarms.com on many occasions and he is very knowledgable and will surely help you out.
Good luck and be careful
