The rain pounded against the window pane, the glistening drops threw diamonds of light in every direction. The simple beauty of the world could be found just by watching the drops caress down the glass. A face, pale with indescribable beauty watched the water, slowly tracing a delicate finger down the tracks made by the water. Her chest rose up and down methodically, as she ran her fingers through her chocolate hair, her nails catching every strand. She sat in her favourite plush window seat, her head pressed against the cool glass. She raised her legs up to her chest and wrapped her long arms around them. The delicate purple material she wore slid back up her arm, resting on her elbow... A deep purple welt protruded out from her sleeve, angry, evil. A tear ran down her cheek as she exhaled. The tear encapsulated everything she had ever felt
