How to become a professional MMA fighter?
I've been inspired to be a UFC fighter ever since I was 11 but I know it's so not at easy as it looks, I'm one of the few people who know that the UFC isn't just for any old Karate trophy winners (Lyoto Machida is an exception) or regular MMA fighters with like ten months of training, you have to be the best of the best to get in the UFC which I understand knowing it's the best MMA company in the world.
I'm 13, currently a beginner in Muay Thai, my dad (he's 34) taught me some boxing and gave me some lessons on how to kick (he was a black belt in TKD and won a karate tournament as a kid) when I was 11 through 12. He supports my dream of becoming an MMA fighter and told me if I ever get hurt in sparring or MMA matches or any type of combat.... get used to it if you wanna be in the UFC.
Can anyone give me any tips on how to become a professional MMA fighter?
1) Find an MMA gym.
2) Sign up for classes.
3) Start training
4) Once you are 18, and your coach tells you that you are ready, compete as an amateur.
5) Once your coach tells you that you are ready after fighting amateur, compete as a pro.
That's how.
P.S. Seriously consider joining your high school wrestling team, as this is a great base for MMA, and free.
Good luck!
